h is for happy: week 41

Good afternoon ladies and gents! Welcome to another 'H is for Happy' post - the series that showcases all the things in life that put a grin on my face. I'm spending the day wishing for brighter weather so that I can re-shoot a load of photos that I took of some pretty little moths. Yes, that's what my life has become! There's something so much nicer about photographing animals. They're less...posey. They don't have time to organise the gap in their fringe or smile widely for the camera; I think that makes for a fresher photograph. Once my holiday is out of the way (not long to go now folks!) I'm going to start saving for better cameras and for some film for my Mini Diana. I've now documented 200 things that make me happy! When I started this feature, I had no idea how long I would do it for. However, I've realised that there's really no need to put a use by date on it. It'll run its course when it wants to, but, whilst there's still multiple things that make me happy, I'll be posting these weekly! I have no idea what the rest of the week holds in store for me so I think it's going to be a case of waking up and deciding what to occupy my mind with! I quite like that about my lifestyle. I have the ability to make each day different. I'll see you soon! P.S Someone turns one year old tomorrow ;)

h is for happy: week 40

Good morning ladies and gents. Welcome to another 'H is for Happy' post; the series that showcases all the things in life that put a smile on my face. I have rather grannyish tendencies aka peeing every hour, lack of balance and checking BBC Weather like they're paying me £100 every time I refresh the page. Apparently, today is meant to have its fair share of sunny intervals so my mood is a lot lighter than what it was yesterday with the torrential rain. I ended up having quite a next textbook Sunday though - Sunday Times supplements sprawled around me, cups of tea, soundtrack of Mumford & Sons and a cheeky little nap. I've got a feeling (woo hoo) that this week is going to be a good week. Ugh, I feel sick for doing that. It's of course the week of the SW blogger meet AND Luke has lots of time off so that means FUN FUN FUN FUN/feeling the strain of being an XBOX widow! Anyone got anything interesting planned? Time to go and learn some French. Ooh la la!! Whats making you happy this week?

There's tons of plants/artefacts/symbols around this house. I always feel like I'm on holiday in certain areas! | Soggy cereal to start the day | Gorgeous rainy sunset outside the window. I didn't realise there was a man riding his bicycle til I put the camera down and he gave me a concerned look. Woops! | The rain and sun combo was gorgeous. The light was bouncing off everything | Let there be light | Me being a cool kid | Gotta love a cheeky blueberry muffin before dinner | Ignoring my to do list with a nice episode of River Cottage | To buy list for Thursday. Got a feeling I'll take too much :/

I'm just going to be super British for a moment and discuss the weather. How the bloody hell has the weather changed so dramatically within a few days?! Just look at last week's post! Ugh, it doesn't half annoy me. Am I the only one that feels more productive/motivated when the sun is shining?! I swear to God I've got S.A.D! For me, today will be spent partly entertaining my Father/pretending to listen to him whilst I read The Sunday Times supplements before heading to spend the evening with L to celebrate another month of being together. It's now less than a month til our first official going-it-alone holiday; we've already had the opportunity to see New York and Berlin together. I really hope it's going to be amazing. To be honest, anywhere is better than here right now. I know that by living in a seaside town I'm pretty much a target for annoying tourists but seriously, please go home people! FYI: THE ROAD IS NOT A PAVEMENT. #rantover

Thanks for all your lovely comments on my VLOG the other day. I love how people were saying I sound how I type! You know you got the real deal, eh?! I've got a bacon sandwich calling my name right now (well, it's actually my mother shouting about it but still...) so I'm gunna have to keep this short and sweet. I'll be back tomorrow with H is for Happy. Until then, have a lovely end to the week!

P.S The SW blogget meetup is not far away! I've sent out final detail emails to those that have shown interested. If you're also interested, please give me an email at: rebeccaalicestevenson@googlemail.com

h is for happy: week 37

Good afternoon ladies and gents! I hope you're all cheery on this grey Monday afternoon....It's not very inspiring is it?! I was planning on going out for a cheeky lunch date today but the weather had other plans. Therefore, I've stayed in with Luke and wishlisted a load of homeware. Oh, isn't domestic bliss interesting?! There's only so much excitement you can muster up towards a cheese grater. I think I'm going to spend the rest of the day snuggled with a selection of Stephen Fry documentaries. I couldn't be more pleased about that fact! Before I up and leave, here's a selection of things that put a grin on my face. Have a lovely week! I'll be back on Wednesday.

Snapping Ebay photos of Luke's old Snorehammer | My lovely note and gift from Chloe | Yummy milkshake | My blurry mug

Hello everyone! It's just a teensy snapshot this week because I've not really been feeling the whole camera thing whilst I've been ill. A post featuring photos of steroids, green faces and games of sympathy Boggle isn't exactly what I want around here for Viva. I'm now on more drugs that seem to be working so be expecting a whole plethora of more interesting photographs next week (: I've had a lovely weekend just chilling out with Luke and his family. We've been kicking zombie ass on Left for Dead 2, yes, he 'got me into it', nomming on honey glazed seabass and catching up on some well deserved beauty sleep. It's really helped me to feel that lust for life again. There is a complete God though because on Friday I'm off for a spa day again. I cannot wait! Give me that communal sauna RIGHT NOW. I joke. I stick to the prudish separate lady sauna - sticky hairy men just don't do it for me. Who knew?!

I went to see POTC 4 today with the fam. I fell asleep. Honestly, I'd be the worst film reviewer in the world. Although, if anyone is reading this needing an aspiring writer to go cover Harry Potter's press for them - I'M ALL YOURS! I should probably be getting ready for the arrival of Luke right now but for some reason I'm taking great comfort in just writing a load of nonsense on this page. I'm gunna find some time this week to sit down with a nice cuppa and catch up on what the blogosphere has been up to. I do feel rather detached at the moment but things will get better! Right, I'm off to go get ready. This has been lovely - we will do it again sometime very soon! Ho hum.

h is for happy: week 36

Good morning everyone! Welcome to another installment of 'H is for Happy' - the series that sees me pinpoint the simple things in life that put a huge smile on my face. At the moment, I'm grinning like a Cheshire cat because I've got Luke back. Of course, my health is still going down the pan but hey...I have a happy heart! I've got a day of chilling out to look forward to today but I've also got an hour's driving lesson. I'm dreading it as ever. I just really don't like driving :/ I pray you've all had a good weekend! I've got a whole load of new followers again so I just wanna say a big HELLO! You'll have to excuse me at the moment, I feel a little disconnected from the blogosphere. I'll be sure to get round to saying hello to everyone and checking out posts soon though! I'm definitely going to use this week to get back to restoring my health, enjoying time with my boyfriend and learning how to wear a permanent smile. Sometimes, you need to take some time to yourself to just make sure you're the best you can be (: Have a lovely rest of your Monday and I'll see you soon! What's keeping you happy?

walking along the seafront in the sunshine in weston-super mare | little sister battling the crazy winds of weston | some graffiti i stumbled across - banksy perhaps?! | does anyone else find it weird that i sit like this? i just find it so comfortable! luke was highly concerned | yummy thick tomato soup |  got given an easter goody bag by the family. as you can see, i'd already eaten the malteaser bunny when this was taken - woops! | felt like wearing my winter hat | a massive happy birthday to the gorgeous lyzi from being little today!

If I'm perfectly honest, Bee has barely left the hive this week. I've been so tired and it feels as if someone is throwing knives around in my stomach area so I've not been wanting to do anything productive. I have actually attended a few social events this week though;  if by 'social events' you mean cups of tea with my nan and her mates. LIVIN THE DREAM BABY. Of course, right now, the only thing that matters is that Luke is currently on his way home...for good! That's right, I'll no longer be in a long distance relationship as of..well, now! Obviously, I'm still going to be a massive supporter of those of you that are but I'm going to definitely make the most of him being around.Viva and all my readers definitely helped me get through it all so massive thanks!

How bloody typical was Eurovision?! It's definitely still a case of, 'Neighbours, everybody needs good neighbours!'. Bloody silly! Jedward did me proud though. I love them so much. As for Blue? Bugger off back to 2003. This coming week is going to be focused on my health and sorting it all out. Does anyone have any ideas for food you can eat to strengthen your hair? Mine has got really thin again cause I'm run down and it's rather upsetting me. I'M TOO YOUNG FOR A TOUPÉ! I'm going to quit while I'm ahead. I'm not painting a very sexy picture for myself here. Have a lovely Sunday and I'll see you right back here tomorrow for some painfully annoying happiness. I'm sure that'll cheer some people up ;)

P.S Thanks for all your amazing comments/emails on my last post. I read through them all a billion times over and thought, 'Fuck it, we've just brought back GIRL POWER!'. You're all awesome!

h is for happy: week 35

Hola Vivaettes! Welcome to the 35th installment of 'H is for Happy'. I've got a little bit of that Monday feeling today - the 'can't be arsed' disposition, the yawns per minute and the not-moving-from-the sofa-for-no-shit attitude. I'm gunna work on better things for little Viva this week so that should take my mind off the fact that I suck at getting employed. Having said this, I've got something to massively look forward to this week....EUROVISION! Luke is coming home for good on Sunday! I'm extremely excited. I pray you're all having a good start to the week. If not, just remember that vodka will always be there for you. I'ma go make me some soup. I'll see you soon lovely people. Until then, keep smiling. P.S What's put a smile on your face lately?

me and two of my besties VERY drunk | a compilation of myself drunk - i love the third photo in (: | UGH, i hate my hair but LMAO at aaz. he couldn't see the screen so he nicked my glasses | Nice birdseye shot of my roots haha. i just love their faces | chilling out watching 'harry brown' - something i won't bother to do again

Hello everyone! I'm so so sorry for being an absolute fail whale on the blogging front this week. If I'm honest, I just having been 'feeling it'. I needed to take time out to just experience nothing and then I experienced a few things which kind of bummed me out. It's been a strange strange week. That's probably why I have bugger all photos to show you too. I'm very sorry about that. I'm going to dedicate next week to little Viva over here because she needs better things! Thanks so much for sticking around whilst I had a little break! I went out with my mates again on Friday to watch one of my best friend's play. I was dancing around like a little pixie - probably something to do with the vodka soaked Haribo that a bearded stranger offered us. We then hit up the club and witnessed some of the most terrible sights you have probably ever seen. No one needs to witness extreme humping. Ever.

I'm currently 'embracing' the job hunt. There's either no jobs suitable to my qualifications/skills or the jobs that may be okay aren't accessible by public transport. Fecking hell. I had the worst job interview ever earlier this week. It was the sort of interview where you want to tell the interviewer to stick their job up their arse. Anyone else had them? Anyway, I walked home furiously and then vommed on the pavement. I'm so classy. It's kinda wrecked my confidence again. I'm off to my Father Bear's soon. If my sister bloody hurries up. Her ability to drag out the process of getting ready is astounding. It really is. Anyway, I shall leave it there. I'll be back tomorrow with another installment of 'H is for Happy' and next week will be a better week over here at Viva! Keep smiling.
