Busy Bee 012

This week I've been...
living for the weekend •  nomming my way through my graze box • thinking about the future and what I want to end up doing • attempting to translate some of the tourists accents into english! • dealing with a case of wanderlust - as per! • reading more • waiting for summer to properly kick in

Hello everyone! I'd like to wish a very Happy Mother's Day to you all - whether you're a mother yourself or if, like me, you're a child that spent the whole of yesterday running around the town centre wandering what the hell you're going to get your beloved Mamabear. I'm afraid this post is rather short and sweet because I'm currently spending all my time eating good food and seeing my boyfriend. We are still trying to work out a schedule to see each other because work commitments get in the bloody way but hopefully it'll all be well. I'll be back to posting better things very soon. Have a lovely day sweets and I'll see you tomorrow!

P.S I've been using my Tumblr a lot more recently to just reblog inspiriation so why not come say hello if you have Tumblr. I need a few more friends and more inspiration! You can find my Tumblr HERE.

My week in posts;
As ever, Monday welcomed another 'H is for Happy' post. This week's featured wishes, rollercoaster dread and smooth sunkissed legs. I say it all the time but I really must get this featured transferred to my own journal to look at. I think I may put it in a moleskin. Anyone got any ideas of the best way to present it? Would a moleskine be the best idea? Give me inspiration! Talking about all things stationery wise, Wednesday saw little Viva take a break from 'What If' posts to showcase the best journals around at the moment. A lot of you also loved the look of the journals (: I'm planning a few little purchases once my balance allows. Believe it or not, we welcomed yet another month this week so Thursday saw my monthly summary for April. I love having the mix of my long term 101 goals and my quick fire monthly aims. It helps me to get the most out of opportunities :) Have any of you got any April aims? 'Snap Happy' gave me the chance to document my week in photographs. Admittedly, it doesn't depict the ultra glam life that so many of us want but hey! I hope you still like a little peek into my mediocre life all the same (:

Busy Bee 011

(Hello cliché book pose.  Truth be told, I only remembered halfway through reading that I'd yet to take any photos for this post. Therefore, you get these!)

This week I've been...
wanting to cuddle every single one of my 'followers' - thank you, thank you, thank you •  spending an age trying to pick beauty products! •  enjoying the sunshine • experiencing contradictory days at work • counting myself lucky for good hospital results • anticipating his company next weekend • embracing even more food documentaries • genuinely loving life

I'd just like to say a big hello and a massive thank you to every single one of my followers - whether you're new to the crowd or vintage little pixies hidden in my Google Friend Connect. I very much appreciate your company so come say hello to me. I'd love to get to know you all because, quite frankly, I'm a nosey cow who could probably talk for Europe if given the chance! The collage above pretty much depicts the nicest part of my weekend. Whilst the sky was grey, the air was clear and this created the perfect picture of serenity for me. I sat for hours reading about different cultures whilst the birds tweeted their little songs in the background. It really was truly lovely. It allowed me to just take a step back from everything in life and immerse myself in a world that is completely alien to me. I'm taking time out of my head at the moment to realise that things are going well. Yes, things may not always run as smoothly as I'd like but I shouldn't be letting my head run on a schedule that far ahead. I just have to live life for now. My weekend really has been enlightening for me but I've got a feeling I sound like a tie-dye adorned deluded hippie talking about it right now :/ Haha. I hope you've all had a lovely weekend and I shall see you tomorrow, as ever, for another installment of 'H is for Happy'. Lovely Jubbly!
P.S I've uploaded tons of summer clothes & accessories to my Ebay.
All bids start at 99p! Go have a peek HERE.
All £ made from it goes to my debt/future funds so it's much appreciated.

Posts I've loved this week;
I was extremely moved and captivated by the beautiful Zoe's post entitled 'Why are you so skinny?' as I've struggled with my weight and the way people perceive it quite recently. This post touched on the debate about whether its right to call someone skinny when you would never call someone fat. Zoe explained how her high metabolism has meant she has stayed petite for years and struggles to put on weight despite a healthy appetite. I'm sure it was a topic that many hadn't actually thought about before - how could calling someone skinny upset them?! The truth is, being 'skinny' does hurt. It's not always the body shape that the person wants for themselves. For me, being called 'skinny' by loved ones let alone strangers was really heart breaking and I wish people would give it a second thought. Zoe also tweeted about my blog the other day saying how much she liked it so I must pubically thank her as I believe it's sent new readers my way! Go and read this post - it'll definitely get you thinking!

I'd just like to wish the gorgeous Jazmine's little Jazzabelle's Diary a happy birthday! Her blog reached one year's old this week and it's certainly one of my go-to favourites. Although she may not think it sometimes, she's such a wonderfully lovely person and is always extremely friendly. Her blog is a credit to her good nature producing some of the most lovely photographs and accounts of her goings on. If you have yet to add Jazzabelle's Diary to your dashboard, now is the time to do it! Corr, feel the love. Eh?!

My week in posts;
Monday was made slightly more bearable by the existence of this week's 'H is for Happy' posts. For those that haven't been around here for long, these posts basically keep tabs on the things in life that put a big fat grin on my face. This week was a mixed bag ranging from peeing after holding it in for too long to signs that loved ones are looking down on you. Go have a look if you're feeling a little blue! Wednesday's post proved to be perhaps the most interesting topic I've ever posted about. I have absolutely loved reading through all of your comments on the matter of 'Blogging vs. the Real World'. They're all equally as interesting as each other. If you missed it you can join in the discussion here. Snap Happy came along on Friday bringing with it photographs of my boyfriend's idiotic face, yummy food and my new Ebay items. I wish my 'Snap Happy' posts made my life look exciting. They always seem to come across as the most boring things on earth :/ Haha. Oh well! I hope you've all enjoyed this week's posts!

Busy Bee 010

This week I've been...
feeling inspired by the sunshine •  appreciating getting a bit of £££ together •  digging out my summery playlists • trying to see the beauty in things • thinking ahead • loving his company • hoping that time will tick promptly •  educating myself

Sweet lord, hello new followers! I'm not entirely sure if you've come from somewhere or whether you've just stumbled upon my little cyber abode but it's nice to have you here all the while. I've been feeling amazingly lovely this past week. I think it's just because I knew that I had a weekend of fun ahead of me. It makes the tedium of the week days subside a little! As a Brit, I couldn't just let the sunny weather pass me by without noting how happy I am that it's reared its head. As my Grandma would say, 'the sun has got his hat on hip hip hip hip hooray!'. Anyone else used to sing that? Or are we just slightly insane?! Anyway, that's enough from me! Have a lovely end to your weekend and I'll see you tomorrow for another 'H is for Happy' post.

Posts I've loved this week;

Obviously, I adored the beautiful Michelle's 'Ways to Wear' feature again this week because she came to my personal rescue with ideas of holiday outfits! I think it's sometimes difficult to find the balance between fashionable and practicality when it comes to summer attire so it was something I found very interesting! She definitely picked out some things that were totally 'me'. Hello floral hotpants! I also really liked Sarah's holiday outfit post too. I added the Topshop Floral Print Tee straight to my wishlist! Eep, don't you just love all this talk of summer?! It's made me realise that I probably do have a case of SAD, haha.

It seems I was loving all things fashionista this week because another of my favourite posts/series of posts to read was the beautiful Gem's DP Denim Challenge. I'm sure there are many of us girls that just don't know our way around denim/what styles could ACTUALLY suit us if we gave them a try. I definitely hold grudges against some styles - hello huge flares! I appreciate that they look beautiful on 'boho' styled models but I can't help but get flashbacks to those awkward teenage tomboy years whenever I think of putting them on me! I pretty much live in skinny jeans but Gem's post taught me to be braver with their counterparts. I also adored the mint coloured kick flares! Beautiful.

My week in posts;
I'm noticing that my weekly 'H is for Happy' feature really depicts the things that are on my mind! This week it featured thoughts of the summer and the exciting things it brings with it. Oh good lord, I cannot wait for the sun. Naturally, by Wednesday I was already thinking of the weekend! This weekend has really been amazing and has certainly lived up to some of my 'ideal weekend' expectations. That was of course the subject for this weeks 'What If' post! I'll be taking a break from 'What If' next week and instead hitting you with 'A Quick Thought'. Lovely! Friday saw an extremely rushed 'Snap Happy' post. I do apologise for this but I've been working my bum off lately so I've no time to photograph things. Boo. I'm gunna be swapping things around a little over the next few months so I hope you will all like the changes. As of yet, I have no idea what these changes will be :/  I hope everyone's liked this weeks offerings ;)

(Oh Hai, stupid facial expressions that make me look like a duck. I apologise for the shitty webcam quality - my camera batteries died!)

This week I've been...
going bat shit crazy due to the tedium of the Ebay process •  loving the sunny weather •  missing him immensely • indulging in lots of QI • working my bum off to earn good £££ • absolutely astounded with regards to the Japanese tsunami • catching up with old faces •  hoping the lovely Lauren at Noir Nouvelle will come back some time

Hello lovelies, I hope you're all enjoying a lovely relaxed Sunday morning right now! I'm cooped up in bed with no intention of moving/doing anything today. Oh, I love my weekends off (: It's just to just let my mind wander on days like this. I've been quite neurotic this week - flitting between a range of emotions in a very short period of time. It's been confusing :/ I'm really looking forward to seeing my boyfriend again - just under 3 weeks to go! In the meantime, I'll be pre-occupying myself with more tedious training days, extended driving lessons, the hilarity of my uncle Tom visiting and probably eating my weight in various things. Perfect. I hope that you've all had a good week. If not, put the kettle on and think happy thoughts! Keep smiling. I'll see you tomorrow another installment of 'H is for Happy'.

p.s Please take a peek at my EBAY. All bids start at 99p.
I've got lots more things to add over time :)

Posts I've loved this week;
I've been marvelling over the beautiful illustrations of the lovely Ella Masters this week. She's so incredibly talented and such a lovely lady! It's such a shame that people have been stealing her work to benefit themselves. Honestly, if I had lots of money I'd comission her to illustrate my crap writing pieces *once I get off my ass and do them*. Go check this beautiful lady out and show her some love!

I'm a big fan of the Sunday Morning Sophisticate posts over at Aha Shake Heartbreaker. Vicky touches on a range of interesting topics with her weekly articles and it's the perfect thing to accompany a cuppa on a lazy morning if you ask me. The insightful posts flow beautifully and you really get the feeling that she's passionate about what she's writing about. What more could you ask for?! Go and have a read!

My week in posts;
As ever, Monday was home to my 'H is for Happy' feature. This weeks picks included crisp clean towels, singing instruments and cheering people up. One of these days I'll get off my ass and turn that feature into a cute little journal. I think it'd make such a thoughtful present for a friend in need of a good cheering up. Despite suffering from a midweek mindblank I managed to post another 'What If' that saw me pondering where I'd go if I were to take a road trip around the UK. It was really nice to see all of your suggestions too - it's definitely made me want to see more of my own country! Naturally, I let you all in to my life through the medium of Snap Happy on Friday. There wasn't many photos of my face in this edition because it kinda got taken over by food and Charles, haha! I'm going to throw in a few one-off posts soon. I hope everyone's liked this weeks offerings ;)

 (Top - New Look
Stupid Smirky Face - My own)

This week I've been...
settling in to my job • stacking fudge! • wandering what went wrong and why • feeling proud of myself • loving all my blogging ladies  • re-evaluating people/situations • looking at the bigger picture • wearing sunglasses outdoors for the first time this year! • wishing summer would rear its sunkissed skin my way • enjoying the sounds of Cypress Hill on my walks to work

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

As you can probably tell, I made a few tweaks to the blog over the weekend and just had a general tidy up. I just wanted it to be a bit neater so I took a few hours out to actually learn how to do things involving HTML. It was an absolute LOLfest as you can imagine. What dya think? I've felt quite good this week. The sun has decided to show its face and I think this had made me feel a little happier about things. Only just over 3 weeks til I see Luke again. It cannot come quick enough! I'm a loner, haha. For once in my life, I actually don't have a lot to say :/ I'll keep this short and sweet! I hope you've all had a good weekend.

Posts I loved this week;
I've been eating out of a lunchbox this week at work for the first time since about year 7 - you know, when it was still relatively acceptable to eat sandwiches at school ;) Oh yes, I've regressed greatly. It has felt so obscure to sit and eat sandwiches out of a box. Oh, what is my life?! I've been looking for fun lunchbox ideas so I was pleasantly suprised when the lovely Sofia posted about her new lunchbox. I definitely need to pimp mine up a bit. If you're looking for fun ideas go take a peek - she also posted a little site where people share their own lunches. I love a bit of inspiration!

I've been *prematurely* looking for holiday clothes this week so I was very happy to see that the lovely Victoria had written a style stealer post on the beautifully sunkissed biatch Kristin Cavallari. I love the laidback LA style but it'd be enough to bring on a bout of pneumonia if I were to showcase it in my seaside town. Therefore, I'm going to totally abuse it when I go to Corfu this summer :) I'm thinking light tees, distressed shorts, straw trilbies and gorgeous glads. Mieow! Go over and have a look if you need some clothing inspiration ;)

My week in posts...
I've posted 6 out of 7 days this week! Corr, aren't you lucky buggers?! In true 'Vivatramp' tradition the week was started with a dose of happiness. I've recently written up a huuuuge list of things that make me happy so it looks like this feature may be around for a while. It helps me get through when I'm feeling low so I hope you guys appreciate it too! Tuesday was the first of the month so I welcomed it by summarising my February and giving myself new aims to work towards this month. It just helps me to gain perspective and get things done - even when I'd rather be sat doing bugger all (: This weeks 'What If' post was extremely fun to compile - it also made me realise just how hard the Eavis' must work to create Glasto! It saw me delve into my imagination and discuss what I'd do if I were to organise my own music fest. A must read for music lovers! Thursday finally saw my Crown and Glory photos. I'd been wanting to take them for a while but the weather was horrendous. Friday brought a new installment of my 'Snap Happy' feature. This week included comfort food, my face and my brand spanking new name badge ;) I hope you've all enjoyed these posts. I'm probably gunna re-jig features etc in a couple of months. Mieow!

A few to follow: crumbs for dinner, Sophie-Bella-Bell and cyrillawest.

Busy Bee 007

This week I've been;
delving into my imagination •  viewing a horrendous amount of Coach Trip • feeling very proud of myself • snapping away •   anticipating this weekend • wishing I could have the patience to start another book •  doing an unhealthy amount of day dreaming.

Goal achievements;
This week I attended a second job interview at a holiday park, eep! I'd never been to a group interview before so it was a bit of a surreal experience. We had a few team building exercises thrust upon us that were slightly odd but I guess they all made sense in some way. Hello throwing balls at one another?! We were also told to turn to the person left of us and find out 2 facts about them that we didn't know before...This was slightly awkward because I was sat next to my step-sister unbeknownst to them! Although, it meant that we could give each other a kickass introduction to the rest of the group ;) I'm very proud to say that I was offered a job in the shop! I am so proud of myself. After 2 months of unemployment I've finally got something. Sure, it's not ideal hours/pay but I really like the people I'm working with and I'm looking forward to giving Rory the Tiger some cuddles!  I haven't really crossed any other goals off this week but I have worked towards my goal of paying off my in laws by saving £100 ;) I've also worked towards my driving goal thanks to another *belated* driving lesson. I managed to master the art of the three point turn. For some reason we also practiced that skill in a road that is reknowned for dogging activity...perhaps rendering it slightly more useful? Haha!

Posts I loved...
Kaelah's weekly wedding posts instantly turn me into the typical girly girl dreaming of dresses, locations and themes for my fairytale wedding. However, this weeks post really pulled on my heartstrings. It featured a gorgeous couple who had decided to base their engagement photos on scenes from The Notebook! Oh dear god, they broke my heart and made me want to weep! Go check it out HERE.

I also loved Celeste's little catch up post on her blog wanderlust. Honestly, I am such a sucker for food blogs/posts about food. This little post had lots of yummy treats in! Am I the only one that loves a blog 100x more if there's food on it?! Hahaa. I also loved Elsie's little '3 Ways to Wear' post. She's so beautiful and inspirational. I love how she styled this particular way up in such different ways. Definitely a must-see!

My week in posts;
Not one to break from tradition, Monday saw me dish out a weekly dose of happiness to all my lovely readers. I'm glad some of you agreed with the whole 'NO SEAGULLS' thing. I live in a seaside town and they're the bane of my life. On Wednesday, I documented my weight battle and celebrated the fact that I've put on weight and have finally been discharged from my dietician. I loved reading all your supportive comments. I'm glad you all thought it was written in the appropriate way. I was a tad nervous! I think it's just good to be truthful to myself and admit that these things have happened to me but I'm strong enough to move on and beat them. Friday saw me produce another installment of the newly named 'Snap Happy'. I hope you all liked this weeks offerings. I've already got started on next weeks 'What If' post ;) Exciting stuff!

A few ladies to follow: give a very warm welcome back to Kelly, newbie Charlie and the beautiful Ebony.
