Marlowe and I packed up a bunch of clothes, diapers, toys, and food and headed off to my brothers to dog/house-sit for the weekend. Marlowes first official weekend getaway!.... a whole 2.5 miles away from home! Ha. Eric has also joined us to help out. We decided to call this our 'staycation weekend', except with the two of us, a baby, and 4 dogs I don't know how much of the va'cation' part we are going to get out of it!
We arrived 2 hours ago and its already a bit hectic: Bruiser really really wants to snuggle up with Babycakes. Veronica wants to snuggle up with Bruiser. Cole is still a cone head. Jerry is hiding away under the bed and wants nothing to do with any of us.
Eric decided to pick up my brothers guitar and play Marlowe some tunes about her baby ways. It's all been pretty amusing so far.
Hopefully this weekend runs smoothly for all of us! Wish us luck!
