A little chat about hair and John Frieda Full Repair.
We all have our beauty secrets...
Sometimes, these beauty secrets are natural gifts that have been passed down, such as the natural gloss that my hair holds or the fact that I'm naturally platinum blonde. However, sometimes we all need a little help in turning our lacklustre locks into something a little more wearable (read: leave-the-flat-without-weeping-able). I am blessed with in between hair; it's not poker straight and it never verges on lion mane territory, as much as I would like it to. Therefore, like everyone else, I draft in a few products to keep my bonce looking beachy and soft.
I'm quite good with my hair: I never brush it, I don't style it with electricals on a regular basis and I don't ever apply heat to it. That said, I've been colouring my hair for 4 years now. The most interesting combination I've had was purple and turquoise ends, it sounds fashionable now but at the time people thought I was a freak which, of course, made me all the more determined to keep it that way . Whilst colouring my hair, nowadays, makes me feel confident and less bland, it doesn't do wonders to my hair. Thankfully, John Frieda's PR peoplez recently contacted me with the promise of restoring the look and feel of my hair without weighing it down. I'm interested to see whether I will feel any difference at all, seeing as my hair is usually so well behaved but I'm willing to put their heavy claims to the test and experiment!
