It's that time again folks! Welcome to another installment of 'friday favourites' - the weekly round up of things that I've found/loved/been inspired by throughout the week. I've had some bad news :/ Unfortunately, I did not get the job that I had an interview for because they didn't like that I can't drive yet so I'd have to rely on the train service to get to work meaning I could be less unreliable I guess. It's kinda upset me but I'm just gunna keep trying! The beau is down today for a couple days to see his family so I'm gunna spend some time with him - this will certainly cheer me up! I still have no plans for Halloween :/ I'm thinking of just dressing up and getting blind drunk. Classy? Let me know what you think of this weeks picks and have a lovely weekend! Have you got anything planned for this weekend? Halloween?

001; truffle shuffle
I used to spend hours of my free time at Sixth Form on truffleshuffle! (Yet I still managed to acquire 3 A levels might I add). If you are a film/tv/retro fanatic this site will not disappoint you! They have everything from a vast array of superhero items to Disney Couture to Um Bongo shirts. They've also got some great little gift ideas which are perfect for the run up to Christmas - which is only 9 weeks away might I add ;) There's just so many funky pieces to choose from and I'd guarantee there's something to suit most on there as they cover so many eras/shows etc. I could literally buy the majority of their t-shirt stock as they're just so good! Go take a peek and let me know what you think!

002; em and sprout
I found this real cute Etsy the other day and fell in love with all the unbelievably cute items on offer! They sell some of the nicest Mary Jane shoes I have ever seen in my life! Pandas? Unicorns? Cats? Cupcakes? Oh come on, that's just too adorable! & have sleep masks ever been this amazingly cute? You should definitely check out this store if you're into individual adorable items. Leave a comment and let me know what you think (:

003; only girl by rihanna
I'm usually more of a folky/accousticcy sort of person but this dance track has got me all excitable (: & It's also given me a little girl crush on Rihanna and her red hair. Furthermore, the video just looks absolutely beautiful - big brownie points for the creators! The pinky tones make me feel all autumnal and excited for fireworks haha. The chorus is really unbelievably catchy and that's what seems to draw me in. It's nice to see Rihanna going back to her more light hearted ways after her scary little 'don't mess with me' phase. What do you think of the song/video? Any of you Rihanna fans?

004; stray jewellery
I'm sure some of you have cottoned onto the fact that I'm a sucker for a quirky pendant and boy oh boy 'Stray Jewellery' certainly doesn't disappoint. Their accessories would bring a beautifully quirky twist to any outfit and would certainly catch a few eyes I'm sure (: As well as pendants they also offer some beautiful charm bracelets, intricate vintage inspired brooches and cute as a button earrings. If, like me, you're an owl fan be sure to check out the necklaces as there are far too many nice ones to mention! Santa, if you're reading I would like this, this, this and this. Thanks (:

005; californication
I recently started watching this series with my boyfriend and my oh my, I am in love! Californication follows the life of lothario Hank Moody and his extensive writers block. We managed to watch the whole of season one last weekend and it's safe to say it was a really funny watch! However, it's not a show for the prudes...there's a lot of rough and tumble in it as it were ;) You can't help but feel sorry for the antagonist as he gets himself into all sorts of predicaments that us normal folk would gasp at! I'd reccomend it to those that don't mind a little bit of dirtiness, love a good laugh and those that fancy the pants off rugged middle aged men. Go check it out and see for yourself! Anyone already a fellow Californication fan?

*Leave a comment and let me know what you think - it'd be much appreciated (:
