Hello fellow bloggers! I hope all is well with each & every one of you. I've realised that I am completely head over heels in love lately - absence definitely makes the heart grow fonder! I just really cannot wait for March to come round now so I can work out what the next few years of my life holds for me. I'm still a bit :/ about it all at the moment because I'm just annoyed that my health has meant I'm missing out but hey ho. I hope you enjoy this weeks picks - let me know what you think! Have a lovely weekend (: Go check out previous favourites over at the features tab.
001; topshop koala bear beanie hat
Okay, I know what you're probably thinking. ANOTHER HAT?! I'm sorry, I know that the hats are becoming a regular occurence over at the Friday Favourites camp but they just keep making ones that are so so adorable (: I could totally see myself wearing this on a cold autumnal evening! However, i'm saving my pennies so I have no money for this sort of thing. BIG CRY! What do you think of animal inspired hats? Silly or adorable?002; braggingbags etsy jar lights
I found these little beauties whilst I was browsing Etsy for things I can't afford - as per usual (: I've been thinking about creating thrifty versions of these for a while now because you can get a variety of jars for cheap prices in the local charity shops around here. They're just perfect for cosy autumnal nights, dontcha think? I'd advise you to go check out the Etsy and browse all the cute little romantic/wedding gifts they have on offer (: You can go check out their etsy here. Have you made anything like this before? What do you think?
003; jose vanders' new ep stuff
I am so excited for Jose' new EP! I found this little gem of a video of her performing one of the tracks off her new EP and I think it's safe to say I am completely in love. I wrote a little 'listen and love' post on our Jose a little while back which you can check out here. I remember saying that she just gets better with age and personally I believe this track illustrates that perfectly. The lyrics are so beautiful and so relateable. It's certainly a sweet ditty to listen to whilst snuggled up in a duvet listening to the rain outside. Check it out and let me know what you think! She's recording this week - I hope the EP will be on its way soon!
004; nailympics 2010
I found these crazy nails whilst I was catching up on some good old news the other day! My oh my, they put my basic red nails to shame! Nail artists from all over the world gather annually to display their intricate and somewhat zaney designs. They may be a little 'too much' but hey, you canot deny that they're breathtaking?! They work for hours on end using a vast array of liquids, powders, paints and tools to devise the best 'fantasy' designs. Go check out a couple more designs here. Leave a comment and let me know what you think of events such as these! 005; river cottage everyday
My family and friends will tell you that I am slightly obsessed with cookery shows and they're most definitely right! However, for me, there is always going to be a favourite - River Cottage. For those that don't know, Hugh-Fearnley-Whittingstall is a cook that moved to a small shareholding over a decade ago in an attempt to live of the land and promote the benefits of homemade cooking. The 'River Cottage' series follows his quests to woo the British public with food and recipés. 'River Cottage Everyday' has just started airing in the UK and oh my, it does not disappoint! It focuses each week on one particular theme. The food is so so nice and Hugh's lifestyle is something I totally envy! What TV show obsessions do you have?
*Leave a comment and let me know what you think of this weeks favourites (: Keep smiling! I'm looking forward to another weekend with the beau <3
