hello sweets, i am back! i disappeared from the blogsphere for a few days and boy did i miss it (: so, the beau has finally left. i marked the occasion by weeping into a box of chocolate truffles for two hours - classy bird ;) i can't sleep without him next to me and i can't seem to stop crying about it all. god help me. went on a mega shopping spree yesterday to cheer myself up *& unintentionally bankrupt myself. i'll probably do a post on my purchases today if i can stop weeping. i'll also be posting a vlog this week - hopefully. i've got a few saved on here but each one is just terrible. the one where i unintentionally get my foot stuck in my bin is a fond favourite. but yeah, hope you're all having a lovely week! go check out my new wishlist tab (: leave a comment & let me know what you think about this post. speak soon.
001; topshop huskie winter hat
as i've explained in previous posts, there's nothing i like more in life than wearing an absolutely ridiculous hat whilst in the company of my friends & family. but holy sweet lord, i've never seen a better hat for me than this little huskie beauty. (yes, i'm perfectly aware that i pretty much said the same thing about this leopard print hat in a previous ff post...but sssh i'm young & fickle!) for those that don't know, i absolutely adore huskies. & yes i'm also a mega fan of mishka the talking huskie *hello, go check her out here. they're just so so cute. & my boyfriend has promised me he'll buy me one some day & we'll name it dexter *after our favourite serial killer of course! whatcha think of my crazy hat choice? are you a huskie fan? btw, go check out my new wishlist tab under the header for other items i'm loving!
002; laphotocabine.com
i didn't know about this photobooth site until the lovely michelle over at daisybutter blogged about it in her awesome DIY post *which you should totally peek at if you haven't already!! it's like having a little vintage photobooth in the comfort of your very own home! which when teamed with a night in with the girls can only be a good thing, right?! this site gives you options to share your images with social networking sites so it's never been easier to show your mates what fun you've been having (: hurrah. i'll be sure to give it a spin when my team are over tomorrow night for a few drinks. *i say a few drinks, i mean a few bottles. go check it out and let me know what you think. *apologies for the cat photos...i wasn't up for posing...turns out neither was he hahahaaa.
003; young love by the mystery jets feat. laura marling
okay, so i know that this song was released in 2008 *which makes it like 300 years out of date, right hipsters? but it's one of those songs that i can safely say will probably always be on my itunes. sure, it's not mega impressive....there's no crashbangwallopboompizzazz. (whatever that is :/) but that's what makes it lovely - its just a 'nice' song. the video is also pretty sweet. & of course it features the beautiful laura marling which is always a good thing in my books! i think the sentiment of the lyrics are really beautiful - 'if i only knew your name, i'd go from door to door, tell me have you seen the girl i met just once before'. viva good old fashion romance! that's what i say. go give it a listen if you haven't before...or go check it out again & let me know what you think of it.

004; 'what's in your bag' over at flickr
as a self-confessed nosey bugger i find myself extremely intrigued by 'wiyb' posts on blogs & flickr alike. so i was mighty impressed to find this little flickr full of them! it's nice to see what a diverse range of obligatory items that people seem to keep in their bags. the lovely elsie over at a beautiful mess recently did a 'wiyb' post as did the lovely musings of mi. go check them out also. i'm thinking of doing my very own over here at vivatramp because i seem to have a set selection of things that i don't leave the house without! do you find bag posts interesting? or slightly tedious? let me know what you think! in the meantime, head over to the flickr for a good nose around!

005; kigu animal costumes
oh yes my friends, these little beauties have been on my christmas wishlist for a while now. if you're a fan of japanese culture you'll know that kigurumi is massive over there & that these little babies are worn as both streetwear as well as jimjams *ugh, massively jealous! i'm currently torn between the cat kigu & the panda kigu. go view them over here (just click the 'shop' tab). they look absolutely hilarious/amazing in photos - this is a perfect example. would you be seen in one of these beauties? or would you not be caught dead in a kigu?
*there you have it, leave me a comment & let me know what you think of the things featured in this weeks post. & of course, don't forget to go check out the features tab or the linkwithin below to check out previous ff posts (:
