i spotted these pretties over at the lovely elycia's 'friday favorites' post & my oh my, i fell in love. firstly, they are orange! secondly, they are owls! thirdly, you can use them as bookends! holy hell, that means they tick three very important & prominent boxes in my opinion! i'm rather quite taken by them (:

i've had a baking bug all week so i've been busy admiring all the cute things that 'bake it pretty' have to offer. & my oh my, i just love the little baking cups they have on offer. & not to mention all the cute things they have to decorate cakes, the various ribbons & little suitcases! & check out these edible glitter heart sprinkles!!! baking has never looked so good.

check out all the cute things that this lovely etsy has on offer! i'm rather admiring the little cat purses & the pixelated hearts! not to mention the pixelated radio brooches. there's so many sweet items in her shop that'd make perfect gifts for people - or things that'd be perfect for a little retail therapy ;)

004; CAPES! & lusting after a/w snuggly clothes & accessories

i love love love autumnal nights of snuggling up in ridiculous amounts of clothing & blankets with some hearty warming food & a cuppa. so, i've been getting a little stupidly happy at the autumn winter collections that the high street has to offer. this year i'm thinking it's more about comfort for me rather than looking slightly presentable *hell, that's my look every season but sssh*. 'm loving the idea of having a cape this year. pictured above is the aztec blanket cape from topshop. little bit quirky but i'm thinking even if the aztec ideals were a little insane *freshly ripped out heart anyone?* they had good intentions & nice designs. that makes this a winner in my books.

005; the beastie boys

i'm indulging in a little beastie boys today. i used to really not be able to comprehend them :/ but for the past few years i've admired their ability to enthuse & amuse me. so here's a little bit of 'ch-check it out' for you all to indulge in if you so wish to. play it loud or not at all of course (: & remember, 'I LIKE MY SUGAR WITH COFFEE & CREAM'.
