001. i got my A level results this morning! B in travel & tourism, B in english literature & C in history. mega chuffed! it means i've got in to my chosen uni so i'll be starting my journalism & media and cultural studies course in september 2011. lovely jubbly. i'm rather proud of myself as the past six months haven't been easy for me. & i've managed to bag myself some work experience on the local paper ;) the journalist that was there to interview intelligent people for the paper came up to me asking how my results went & what i wanted to do in the future etc so i thought, hey there's nothing wrong with making a few subtle hints. aka 'I WANT TO STUDY JOURNALISM....YOU DON'T HAPPEN TO DO WORK EXPERIENCE DO YOU?!' *doe eyes*. so look out for that in the near future! i'm off out to celebrate my results tonight.

002. i had my MRI. eesh, not the nicest experience of my life. i had to drink 2 litres of liquid that tasted like the stuff you vomit up when you've got rid of all the digested food inside of you. appetising ;) & then i had various injections & wires put into me *& i bled all down my arm, much to the suprise of the two radiographers* the mri itself wasn't too bad...just really noisy which thankfully meant i couldn't hear the god awful chart music they piped through the headphones. i had a little giggle to myself because the woman with the flowery voice kept saying over the tannoy 'breathe in....breathe out....AAAAAAND STOP BREATHING!'. i had to do this about 20 times - it's not clever to stop breathing, it really isn't. it took around 40/50 minutes which was extremely boring but happy thoughts got me through. now i've just got to be patient & wait for the results which could take anything from a few days to a few weeks. joy of all joys!

004. i'm thinking of looking into getting a header designed for the blog. i feel it's about time to make it look a little prettier. so if any of you budding designers is willing to draft out some ideas & help a fellow blog friend it'd be much appreciated. i'm wanting something quite simple yet whimsical. maybe just 'viva tramp' in some nice pale pink swirly typography or something.

006. i've managed to strike #27 off my 'to do list' because i recently went to the balloon fiesta with my fam. it's an annual show to showcase local arts & crafts through hundreds of stalls & it's finished off every day with a flight of hot air balloons. there's also a funfair & lots of yummy food! & companies go there to promote themselves & hand out freebies - my favourite ;) it was a lovely day out. here's some photos.
