Jerry has an unhealthy and unnatural obsession with tennis balls... or really, anything resembling a tennis ball. He worked so hard for that tennis ball all day and all night long at my party last weekend, he wore his nails down so far on the tile that he started bleeding. It was to the point where I had to crate him so he could relax.

In general his obsession is pretty amusing and definitely over the top nuts, but it makes me fearful about play time with babycakes. I'm going to have to have a *NO BALL RULE* in my home. He is the most loving dog in the world, but sometimes he doesn't know the difference between a ball and a finger holding a ball. 

I found a ridiculously large sized tennis ball today while thrifting. I thought Jerry would love it. Instead this is the reaction I got from him:

Thats right. Not only did he pee on it, but he also poops with one leg up. What a funny little dog. I hope babycakes loves him as much as I do. After all, it will be the 3 of us living together for a very long time :)
