This was one of the best weekends I've had in a long time. It started Friday with my amazingly successful thrifting adventure {wow that's a mouthful!}. I found this beautiful skirt and was just drawn instantly to the color. I don't normally wear long skirts but I thought since it was sheer it could be good to wear to the beach. But then I just had to wear it the next day and it matched so perfectly with this dress from American Apparel.
Saturday Matthew and I had a little shopping adventure. We went all over town and took these pictures in Pershing Square. There are so many birds there and one landed on Matthew's head! What a little daredevil. I know my boyfriend was freaking out a little bit on the inside but he held it together pretty well and just swated it away!

Saturday night we had a delicious dinner which I'll write about later this week and Sunday we made a trip out to Malibu. It was such a wonderful weekend spent largely outdoors. All of our meals on Sunday were outside. I think that means it's unoffically summer, my friends!
