south west blogger meet up.

Live in the South West? Want to meet other bloggers? It's your lucky day ;)

Why? 

The lovely Lyzi and I decided that it was about time the South West was graced with a blogger meet up! There seems to be quite a few of us South West bloggers so we thought it was about time we all met and got to know each other properly!

Where?

After a bit of deliberation, we decided Bristol would have everything that we'd need for a fun day/awesome night out.  We know that it's a little bit 'northern' for some southeners down in places like Liskeard but hopefully this gives you enough notice to get some cheap train tickets!

What? 

This part is all a bit blurred as it's still obviously very early days. However, we were thinking that we could meet for shopping at the purse emptying Cabot Circus for an afternoon of retail therapy! After a few hours, we'd all meet up for lunch at one of the restaurants on the second floor - yet to be picked ;) Later on, we'd head for drinks (in a place that is to be confirmed!) before heading to Thekla for their 2 for 1 drinks night. For those that don't know, the Thekla is a club on a boat. Oh yes. If you have any suggestions for places to go or w/e then feel free to leave them in the comments. This could all change, haha!

When?

Thursday 16th June 2011. We understand that some people have 9-5 jobs but we are hoping this gives people enough notice to take a couple of days off from work (: It's also outside of uni term time so no worries about assignments or exams (: Woo!

Who? 

This 'event' is open to all bloggers but is obviously designed to be easily accessible for those in the South West.  It's not necessarily only open to over 18's either because those under age could always just come for the day.
